Hotel Banquet Server - FULL TIME

Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, assist with seating, and serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverages while clearing each course following procedures. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, including setting up, refreshing, and breaking down coffee breaks, receptions, and buffet tables. Complete pre-function side work, station assignment, and table set-up, then execute closing duties such as breakdown, equipment cleaning, restocking, and transporting dirty linen to laundry. Adhere to state liquor regulations and TIPS certification requirements while using Point of Sales systems for payment and cash handling. Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary in the Banquet Department.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- TIPS certified or receive certification within 60 days of hire date
- ABC License
- Ability to stoop, reach, walk and stand for long periods
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to work flexible hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime as necessary
- Must follow and have knowledge of health codes and requirements
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards
- No smoking or eating in the work area
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Server and Bartender experience
