Job Summary
Assistant General Manager at Tru by Hilton Port Saint Lucie guides daily hotel operations alongside the General Manager, leads multiple departments, drives guest satisfaction, oversees staff training and performance, and supports budgeting, inventory control, and revenue strategies. The role emphasizes leadership across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage; ensuring brand standards, safety, and high service levels while collaborating on sales, marketing initiatives, and operational reporting. Requires proven hospitality leadership, strong communication, operational and financial acumen, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Hilton PEP system experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in hotel management
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and inventory control
- Knowledge of hotel operations software and systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, etc.)
