Job Summary
Assist in leading daily Front Office operations to ensure exceptional guest service from arrival through departure; supervise, coach, and support Front Desk associates; resolve guest concerns, service recovery situations, and billing/credit issues; monitor guest satisfaction and implement service excellence standards; coordinate staffing levels, scheduling, and shift coverage; conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure coordination with other hotel departments; train, onboard, and develop Front Office team members; support revenue generation through promoting guest room upgrades, hotel amenities, loyalty programs, and promotions; oversee cash handling and room account reconciliation; assist with administrative duties, performance management, inventory control, reporting, and operational audits; requires flexibility to cover AM/PM shifts and weekends, with potential overnight shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in hospitality
- Minimum of 2 years Front Desk Agent or Guest Service Agent experience
- Strong leadership, team development, and guest service skills
- Experience handling guest concerns and service recovery
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
