Job Summary
Assist the Bar Manager in all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks and cocktails to guests in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or complaints. Train new bar staff and ensure all team members adhere to company standards and policies while following safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the bar and overall guest satisfaction. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or cruise ship setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of drinks and cocktails
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
