Job Summary
Deliver batteries to dealers and customers on assigned routes while loading, unloading, and managing general warehousing duties. Operate vehicles and forklifts safely, ensuring all batteries are charged, cleaned, dated, and properly rewrapped after rotation. Complete daily reports and claims accurately, interact professionally with stakeholders, and fulfill all driver program requirements. Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to strict Environmental Health and Safety policies regarding PPE and warehouse hazards. Work under general supervision with accountability for backup driving and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and do basic math
- Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems
- Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools
- Clean drivers record
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
- Ability to use hands to grasp or handle
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to stand and walk
- Close vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
