Job Summary
Transport equipment and material between supply houses and jobsites using a pickup truck and gooseneck trailer. Safely travel to sites, load and secure loads, and deliver them while maintaining truck cleanliness and organizing equipment. Perform minor repairs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct inspections to ensure load securing equipment is maintained properly. Report any safety deficiencies and complete required paperwork within appropriate time frames. Maintain customer orientation and adhere to all DOT, Federal, State, and company health, safety, and environmental rules. Drive up to 600 miles daily, walk up to 5 miles, and lift up to 75 lbs. in all weather conditions while working outside.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Operating CDL Class A license
- Commercial Driving exp: 1 year preferred
- Knowledge of load permits, state and federal truck driving regulations
- Knowledge of and ability to safely secure loads for transport
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical and fit for duty
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, climb perform numerous task that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift
- Must maintain acceptable personal hygiene, professional appearance and is clean shaven (job specific), and appropriate PPE at all times
- Must be able to pass safety screening for fit tests and pulmonary test for cross functionality between customers
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills to complete all required paperwork
- Must maintain customer orientation annually
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Uses physical force to lift, push, pull and hold equipment/tools
- Must have own housing
- Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day, and lift up to 70lbs
- Must be able to drive up to 600 miles a day
