Hot Plant Foreman

Job Summary
Coordinate asphalt production to meet internal and external customer demand, including schedule coordination with sales, operations, and administrative staff. Responsible for ordering materials and supplies, daily safety and production reports, and supervising/monitoring plant activities and equipment maintenance. Occasionally operate mobile and/or plant equipment. Ensure manpower, resources, and documentation of operations (logs/incidents) meet policies, safety regulations, and regulatory requirements. Lead and develop craft employees to promote understanding of safety and aggregate processing; manage costs related to equipment and personnel while maintaining quality and schedule adherence.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in asphalt operations
- Understanding of material processing equipment (plant controls, dryer drums, screens, conveyors)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to operate computer tasks and email
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance and asphalt production
- Ability to communicate clearly and problem solve; adhere to safety and OSHA regulations
