Job Summary
Rotates all food in assigned refrigerator and places all food in dated, labeled and clean containers. Anticipates all and any menu requests. Prepares on time all food items designated to the assigned station in accordance with the standards of quantity, quality, taste, and presentation as established by the Executive Chef. Check all food for taste, temperature, and eye appeal. Inspects delivery of food to ensure the highest level of quality. Prevents the spoiling and contamination of foods by practicing proper sanitation and complying with health regulations. Adheres to recipes and food pictures to ensure uniformity and consistency. Consults with Executive chef on forecasted business volumes. Prepares or ensure preparation of menu in place for next day. Complies with department rules, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. May be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training purposes. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately. Other duties as assigned.
