Job Summary
Conduct daily hotline operations by accurately cooking pasta, sauces, and hot food items according to company standards. Prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure smooth kitchen flow, while communicating effectively with the Cold Line and Food Expeditor. Maintain general kitchen cleanliness, including the walk-in cooler, and stock your station to guarantee seamless service. Follow all recipes, portion sizes, and food safety guidelines consistently. Demonstrate core values by treating customers as family and working hard in a fast-paced environment. Requires 1 year of kitchen experience, ability to stand 8 hours, and a Food Handler's card within 7 days. Required Qualifications
- 1 year of previous kitchen experience
- High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work (and have fun!) in a diverse team
- Ability to work under stress
- Attention to detail
- Passionate about food
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's card within 7 days of hire
- Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and move quickly
- Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
- Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Scheduling flexibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must speak conversational English
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak or understand Spanish is a plus (although not required)
