Job Summary
Prepare and cook hot menu items including short ribs, stir-fry, soups, rice dishes, and hot tapas while maintaining cooking stations and supporting line efficiency during service. Plate and present dishes in a visually appealing, standardized format and collaborate with sushi chefs, prep staff, and management to ensure timely, quality service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Seafood Watch sourcing standards, with an option to cross-train across other kitchen roles. Work evenings, flexible shifts including weekends and holidays in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hot line cook in a high-volume, fine-dining, or upscale casual restaurant
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of hot‑food preparation
- Ability to work evenings, flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
