Job Summary
Hot & Cold Technician role focusing on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment (hot side and cold side) with emphasis on customer service, safety compliance, and ongoing technical training. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing ovens, fryers, steamers, walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, performing preventative maintenance, documenting service calls and parts, communicating repair status, managing truck inventory, and participating in on-call rotations. Requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a valid license, strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read manuals/diagrams, and physical capability to lift 50+ lbs. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
- Own industry standard hand tools
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
- EPA Universal certification preferred
