Job Summary
Greet every guest upon entry with eye contact and a warm welcome, then determine the most efficient seating arrangement to manage restaurant flow. Maintain an accurate waitlist with realistic time estimates while handling phone calls and responding to inquiries. Communicate seating needs to service and management teams, observe guest body language to anticipate needs, and assist with bussing and table resetting. Complete each experience with a sincere farewell and maintain composure during peak hours. This role embodies Won't Stop Hospitality's core values to shape the guest's first and last impression, working collaboratively under the direction of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience
- Must demonstrate basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location
- Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary
- Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment's notice
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
