Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly demeanor and manage the seating chart to maximize table rotation and efficiency. Maintain an organized waitlist, process transactions accurately using the POS system, and handle cash and credit card payments while adhering to proper procedures. Assist with takeout orders, suggest menu items and promotions, and address guest concerns or complaints professionally. Keep the host stand clean and organized, assist with opening and closing duties, and communicate effectively with team members. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cashier, host, or customer-facing role preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems are a plus
