Greet guests, engage them in conversation, and manage seating while ensuring every guest is attended to from entry to exit. Accurately enter food and beverage orders into the POS with minimal errors and follow all service steps outlined in the department training manual. Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions in compliance with company accounting policies, discounts, promos, and employee meal procedures. Maintain a well-groomed appearance in proper uniform, prepare the host desk area for scheduled times, and stay updated on all menus, specials, seasonal beers, and drinks. Adhere to state liquor laws regarding alcohol service and enforcement of ordinances. Work a variety of scheduled shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends in a fast-paced environment, while following all safety guidelines and attending ongoing trainings.
