Job Summary
Host/Hostess at Denny’s greets guests and seats them promptly, responds to guest concerns, and assists fellow team members to ensure total guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing the guest wait list, describing promotions, taking initial beverage orders, handling cash and POS transactions, and maintaining a clean, inviting dining environment. Must have strong guest service skills, be able to work with a team, follow brand standards, and handle basic math. The role requires flexible scheduling (including holidays, nights, and weekends) and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move around the dining area. Knowledge of menu items and ability to upsell promotions are valued, as is adherence to health and safety policies and courteous telephone etiquette.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position
