Host

Host/Hostess greets and seats guests in a friendly and courteous manner, responds to guest concerns, assists other team members, and upholds Denny’s Guiding Principles. Responsible for seating tables, managing the guest waiting list, describe promotions, take initial beverage orders, and handle cash and POS transactions with proper etiquette and accuracy. Requires strong guest service skills, basic math, the ability to work in a team, and flexibility to work holidays, nights, and weekends. Knowledge of station and floor operations, and maintaining a clean, inviting dining environment is essential.
