Greets and seats guests promptly, acknowledges guests at departure, assists other service personnel, handles initial beverage orders, responds to guest concerns, and upholds Denny’s Guiding Principles. Demonstrates sense of urgency, maintains guest waiting list and seating order, describes promotions, processes payments, and supports cash handling procedures. Collaborates with team to ensure total guest satisfaction, and maintains cleanliness and organization of dining areas. Requires basic math, ability to operate a POS system, and flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends.
