Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, manage the seating chart, and monitor the waiting list while handling reservations via OpenTable. Answer incoming calls, process takeout and delivery orders, and assemble packages to prevent spills or damage. Handle cash, credit, and digital payments, then reconcile sales accurately at shift's end. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining a friendly presence at the front desk. This role requires a high school diploma, prior hosting experience, and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Must be able to handle guest incidents/complaints
- Legal Sea Foods participates in the federal E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility of all new hires
- All new hires will be required to complete Form I-9 and successfully participate in the E-Verify process
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a Host
- Working knowledge of OpenTable and Point of Sale
