Job Summary
The Host/ess at XRG is responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, seating them and ensuring they feel welcomed. The role includes carrying drinks to tables, keeping the host stand organized, and managing guest flow effectively. Candidates should have strong communication skills, knowledge of guest relations, and adhere to sanitation and safety standards. The position also requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment during various shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 18+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) years related experience
- Familiarity with Opentable
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
- Full service restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language
