Job Summary
Guides guests to appropriate tables as directed by the maître d’, processes guest reservations, assists with front desk operations and opening/closing duties, assists with answering guest inquiries, and maintains a hospitable, professional environment. Responsibilities include anticipating guest needs, maintaining entrance-area cleanliness, ensuring sanitation standards, managing menus and menu books, handling coat checks where applicable, participating in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and team knowledge sharing, and supporting fellow team members in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality setting. Must be able to stand for extended periods, work in a noisy environment, and handle evening/weekend/holiday shifts. Prior hospitality and host experience are required.
