Job Summary
Greet incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner, seating them in dining and bar areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff. Coordinate wait and seats guests with a sense of urgency, bus tables, deliver food and beverages, and clear and resetting tables to maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Support all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise, answer the phone in a prompt and professional manner, and recommend or upsell menu items. Work in hot and cold environments, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
- Able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required
