Job Summary
Greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner, seats guests in the dining and bar areas, and coordinates waitlists with a sense of urgency. Busses tables, delivers food and beverages, clears and resets tables, and ensures a clean, welcoming dining environment while supporting servers. Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner, directs calls, and leads the lobby experience following hospitality standards. Will have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu to recommend and upsell products. Requires ability to lift up to 30 lbs, work in hot and cold environments, and stand for extended periods. Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California positions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
- Able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
