Job Summary
As a Hostess, you will greet guests, manage the waiting list, and ensure a positive dining experience by seating guests and taking reservations. Responsibilities include communicating special requests, responding to complaints, and providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment. Required skills include the ability to operate a point-of-sale system and work collaboratively with restaurant staff. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and restaurant experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends (Sundays)
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
- Does high-quality work while unsupervised
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Able to operate a point-of-sale system
- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
