Job Summary
Greet all guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor consistent with luxury standards, managing seating arrangements and reservations to ensure smooth dining room flow. Escort guests to tables, present menus, and coordinate table turns by communicating effectively with servers, bartenders, and management. Answer phone calls, assist with reservations, and respond to guest inquiries while monitoring dining room cleanliness and ambiance. Maintain awareness of VIP guests and special occasions, supporting guest experience recovery efforts and escalating concerns appropriately to management. Uphold all brand standards of presentation and professionalism at all times. This role requires standing and walking for 8 to 10-hour shifts, including navigating stairs and uneven terrain, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to create warm, welcoming guest interactions
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10-hour shifts, including navigating stairs and uneven terrain
- High level of attention to detail, particularly in guest flow, table placement, and dining room presentation
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in high-volume or high-pressure service environments
- Basic proficiency or willingness to learn reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) platforms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize guest experience in real time
- Professional grooming and uniform standards consistent with a luxury hospitality environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs and occupancy levels
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with FOH and BOH teams
- Commitment to delivering a Forbes Five-Star level guest experience at all times
- Successful completion of a background check
- Verification of legal authorization to work in the United States
