Job Summary
Host responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, seating guests to balance service flow, answering phones, processing carryout orders and payments, and supporting restaurant staff to maintain a welcoming, organized host stand and lobby. Requires strong communication, hospitality, ability to remain composed under pressure, familiarity with reservation systems (OpenTable) and POS systems (Toast), and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Emphasizes guest engagement, rewards program introductions, adherence to company policies and sanitation standards, and teamwork during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant host or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with a guest reservation platform and POS system preferred; Open table and Toast strongly preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
