Job Summary
Greet incoming and departing guests with a smile and eye contact, manage the flow of guests into the dining room and bar area, and inform guests of wait times while monitoring the wait list. Open the doors to welcome guests, seat them, and say goodbye as they leave, all while maintaining clean service areas and performing opening, side work, and closing duties. Communicate with the management team on any guest-related situations and assist team members by setting, bussing, and resetting tables. Complete the Pie Tap Host training program and required food or alcohol service certifications prior to working a shift.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Teamwork oriented, fun, energetic, friendly and passionate
- Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined
- Must attend and successfully complete the Pie Tap Host training program prior to working a shift
- Must successfully attend and complete all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications
