Job Summary
Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner, ensuring prompt recognition and efficient service throughout their dining experience. Assist servers and cashiers in collecting payments, processing credit cards, and preparing shift reports while paying out tips as appropriate. Manage reservations, answer telephone inquiries, and perform opening and closing duties according to established checklists. Maintain high standards of personal appearance, comply with Aimbridge Hospitality safety and service regulations, and attend required training. Ensure menu quality control and demonstrate knowledge of current specials and liquor laws.

- Must routinely meet deadlines
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Must comply with certification requirements as required for position to include Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness Safety etc
- Must know and understand the state liquor laws
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
