Job Summary
The Host Person is responsible for welcoming guests with a smile and personalized greeting, maintaining high personal hygiene standards, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties include seating guests for optimal service, answering phone inquiries, assisting bussers with table setting and clearing, and contributing to the cleanliness of the environment. The role requires knowledge of the menu and company policies, physical ability to lift and perform various tasks, and compliance with safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn and utilize computerized reservation/seating/paging system
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours)
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English
- Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends
- Knowledgeable of the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, and climbing up and down stairs
