Job Summary
Host position at Palos Verdes Golf Club responsible for seating Members and Guests, answering reservations calls and entering reservations in the system, greeting guests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Requires courteous, professional interaction with Members, guests, and staff; basic POS knowledge and math skills; bilingual ability a plus (English/Spanish); ability to work weekends and holidays; experience in upscale dining or country club settings preferred; Serv-Safe and RBS certifications are desirable; CPR certification is a plus. Reports to management and collaborates with wait staff to provide a premier guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year host/hostess or food service experience in upscale environment
- Serv-Safe certification
- RBS certification
