Job Summary
The Host serves as the initial and final point of contact for members and guests, greeting and seating while ensuring a welcoming, high-quality service experience in a club setting. Responsibilities include maintaining the host area, assisting with member services tasks, supporting service staff, handling requests and complaints professionally, and following the club’s safety and service standards. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, ability to work in varying temperatures, and a neat uniform. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, hospitality experience, telephone-system proficiency, and strong communication and confidentiality skills. The position is part-time with possible weekend/holiday hours and additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the service or hospitality industry is an advantage
- Experience operating a multi-line telephone system
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
