Host or Hostess

Greet guests, determine party sizes, and seat them by finding clean tables, pulling chairs, and placing menus. Guide guests through dining rooms, move and arrange tables and settings, and organize seating for groups with special needs. Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins and clean silverware, check menus for current and clean status, and maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager, complete safety training, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors, including standing or walking for extended periods and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
