Host or Hostess

Greet guests, determine party sizes, and seat them by finding clean tables, pulling chairs, and placing menus. Guide guests through dining rooms, arrange tables and settings for groups, and ensure appropriate place settings with napkins and silverware. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Maintain work area cleanliness, check menu accuracy, and report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
