Job Summary
Host position at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Greet and escort guests to tables, maintain a friendly and efficient dining-room operation, assist with reservations, and serve as the ambassador for the department and property. Responsibilities include interacting with guests, coordinating with servers and managers, tailoring guest experiences, maintaining knowledge of menu items and property amenities, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Requires excellent communication, English proficiency, organization, and completion of host training and knowledge quizzes; ability to read and write English and to communicate clearly with management and guests.

- Must pass Food, Beverage and Service Knowledge Quizzes
- Able to speak English clearly at advanced level
- Able to read and write English
- Able to communicate clearly and listen attentively to management, guests, and fellow employees
- Able to make good decisions where guests and co-workers are concerned
- Demonstrates good judgment
- Successful completion of Host position training program.
