Job Summary
Host/Hostess at The Lobby Bar greets guests, seats guests, manages waitlist and special requests, maintains knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and promotions, and communicates effectively with servers and kitchen staff. They stay aware of floor plan information and seating rotation, accurately use guests' names and information, and handle cash and credit card transactions. The role requires excellent customer service, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and be available on weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be friendly and outgoing
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude even when under stress
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays
