Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, seat them, and manage reservations, messages, and telephone orders. Maintain accurate guest counts and wait times while assisting with coat check duties. Clear, clean, and reset tables; monitor restrooms; and sell and account for gift cards. Use proper phone etiquette, answer inquiries about the menu, and follow food allergy procedures and service steps. Lift up to 50 pounds, stand for full shifts, and comply with safety and sanitation guidelines. Complete alcohol awareness training and follow all restaurant policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Successfully complete alcohol awareness training
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
