Job Summary
Greet guests with a warm smile, seat them, and manage reservations and messages via telephone. Maintain accurate guest counts and wait times while assisting with coat check duties. Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain restrooms; and sell and account for gift cards. Use tact and patience to handle guest challenges, respond to menu questions, and follow food allergy procedures. Operate reservation, telephone, and paging systems while complying with safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness training. Stand and walk through the restaurant, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Successfully complete alcohol awareness training
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
