Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, manage the reservation system, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth table turnover. Provide accurate wait time estimates, handle guest inquiries, and maintain a clean host stand. Collaborate with the service team to support timely seating and service, while assisting with check-in and check-out processes. Monitor guest flow during peak times to minimize wait times and assist with running food or bussing tables as needed. Maintain knowledge of the menu and policies to answer guest questions effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in a guest-facing role, preferably as a Host or similar position in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with reservation and waitlist management systems is a plus
