Job Summary
Greet guests promptly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat diners while providing accurate information on menus, pricing, hours, and promotions. Monitor table turnover, observe front-of-house conditions, and ensure beverage menus and paper goods remain stocked and clean. Handle phone inquiries, direct to-go orders, and notify management of large parties or guest concerns. Clean and organize the host station, monitor restrooms, and thank guests as they depart. This role requires standing for 8–10 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Push, pull up, or lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces
