Job Summary
Check in all employees and guests, take reservations, and manage takeout orders using the Open Table system. Greet, seat, and interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience while capturing important information. Review open table reservations to map out the shift plan and print special chits for servers. Ensure the host stand, menus, and restrooms remain clean, stocked, and organized. Work with managers on the floor to maintain proper wait times and handle phone calls. This role supports our vision of being the leading purveyor of the Spirit of Hospitality through fast-paced service and high-level communication.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests.)
- Basic reading skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others and independently.
- Ability to organize and multi-task
- Must visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
