Job Summary
Host position at The Ricardo Marriott DFW Westlake (Westlake, TX) responsible for greeting guests, managing the waitlist and reservations (Open Table), seating guests, guiding guests to tables, informing guests of servers, answering phone calls, and maintaining a smooth dining room flow. Requires knowledge of the menu and daily specials, ability to balance guest flow with service stations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong guest-service orientation. Must be able to work weekends and holidays, lift trays up to 40 pounds, and comply with uniform and grooming standards. Fluency in English and basic sanitation knowledge are expected; prior dining/restaurant experience and training completion are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least sixteen years old
- Must successfully complete restaurants training course
- Previous experience as a server preferred
- At least 1 year of experience with Restaurant or Customer Service Experience
