Job Summary
Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, managing seating arrangements and coordinating waitlists. Answer guest inquiries with accurate restaurant information while maintaining an organized host stand. Communicate with servers and staff to support smooth operations and assist with guest arrivals and departures. This role requires open availability including weekends and is located in Staten Island, NY. The Host/Hostess contributes to a warm atmosphere at Kills Boro Brewing Company, an independent craft brewery dedicated to Staten Island's brewing heritage.
Required Qualifications
- Must have open availability, including weekends.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience preferred in a customer service, hospitality, restaurant, or guest-facing role.
- Experience greeting and assisting guests, managing reservations or seating arrangements, providing excellent service, and supporting daily front-of-house operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to creating a welcoming experience for all guests.
- Experience working in a brewery, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting is a plus.
