Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, manage OpenTable reservations, and coordinate seating to optimize front-of-house flow. Assist with special seating requests, communicate table availability and wait times, and introduce guests to servers. Maintain a clean host stand, answer phone calls, and handle reservation inquiries while representing THE ONE GROUP's hospitality standards. Monitor the dining area, update the Maître D on table status, and assist with bussing tables or running food as needed. Work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift trays when needed
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Previous host or hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Outgoing and engaging personality with a passion for hospitality
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
