Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival to ensure a positive first impression, then manage OpenTable reservations and coordinate seating to optimize service flow. Assist guests with special requests, communicate table availability and wait times, and provide menus before introducing them to their server. Maintain a clean host stand, answer phone inquiries, and support concierge outreach at off-site events. Monitor the dining area to update the Maître D on table status and assist with bussing or running food as needed. Work nights, weekends, and holidays while representing THE ONE GROUP's high hospitality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift trays when needed
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Previous host or hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant
