Job Summary
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your mission is to manage reservations, coordinate seating, and enhance the guest experience while maintaining a smooth front-of-house flow. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, managing OpenTable reservations and seating, assisting with special seating requests, communicating table availability and wait times, providing menus and introducing guests to their server, maintaining a clean host stand, answering phone inquiries, assisting with concierge outreach and off-site events, monitoring dining area and coordinating seating rotation with the Maître D/Lead Host, thanking guests and inviting return, helping fellow team members with bussing and running food, and upholding health/sanitation standards and THE ONE GROUP hospitality standards. You should be outgoing, organized, able to stand long periods, with experience in OpenTable or similar systems preferred, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous host or high-volume restaurant experience is preferred. The role is based in Los Angeles, CA and emphasizes professional representation of THE ONE GROUP with a polished appearance and strong guest service mindset.
