Job Summary
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables in a timely manner. Manage seating arrangements, reservations, and waitlists to optimize table turnover, while communicating with guests to accommodate preferences and answer inquiries about menu items and policies. Monitor dining areas for cleanliness and safety, collaborate with servers and kitchen staff, and assist with resetting tables during busy periods. Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary, and follow hotel policies including cash handling procedures. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown, the position offers competitive pay and benefits including medical and dental from day one.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
