Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, inform them of wait times, enter names into the computer system, and direct them to their tables. Perform light housekeeping duties by cleaning menus and ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly. Answer phones and fill to-go orders when needed. Handle guest complaints by listening to concerns, informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. Seat guests at their own pace and hand appropriate menus after seating. Communicate with servers and managers regarding table availability, large parties, or special requests. Maintain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday availability
