Job Summary
Welcome guests warmly by opening the door, smiling, and making eye contact as they enter. Seat guests at their own pace, handing appropriate menus after seating. Manage the wait and handle reservations using the Open Table system. Communicate with servers and managers regarding table availability, large parties, or special requests. Answer phone calls and take To Go orders. Handle guest complaints by listening to concerns, informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. Inspect restrooms, lobby, and windows, cleaning as needed. Bus tables if required. Stand for 4-8 hours in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Arrive to work in time
- Well-groomed and proper work attitude looking neat and professional
- Ability to stand for 4-8 hours
