Job Summary
Greet guests with eye contact and a sincere welcome, utilizing name recognition to build personal clientele. Anticipate guest needs while managing reservations and walk-ins via OpenTable, seating diners efficiently to maintain dining room flow. Perform all opening and closing duties, maintain host area cleanliness, and assist servers or bartenders as needed. Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding delays or changes, adhering to all health, safety, and company policies. This role is critical for establishing the first and last impression at our gaming and entertainment hub in Waukegan.
Required Qualifications
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
- Hosts must possess a working knowledge of the systems used within our company
- Opening and closing procedures
- Food knowledge
- Beverage knowledge
