Job Summary
Host/Hostess greets guests, determines party size, seats guests at available tables, and ensures guests have clean place settings and current menus. Guides guests through dining areas, assists with seating for groups with special needs, maintains cleanliness of work areas, and ensures service standards are met. Responsibilities include monitoring dining room seating, safety, and guest wellbeing; adhering to company policies and safety procedures; maintaining professional appearance and demeanor; answering phones with proper etiquette; developing positive relationships with team members; and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisors. Key skills include customer service, clear communication, hospitality, teamwork, multitasking, attention to detail, and a professional, courteous attitude.
Required Qualifications
