Job Summary
Greet and escort guests to tables, assist with seating, and maintain room cleanliness while preparing the restaurant for service. Take, record, and confirm reservations according to department standards, then monitor guest needs throughout all operation phases. Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures and uphold food and beverage safety standards based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications. Communicate effectively with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and staff. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Bilingual English/Spanish and ServSafe training are preferred qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant / Food and Beverage field.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- ServSafe and/or food safety training.
- Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
